Antigua & Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Rules
The Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP) is established under the Citizenship by Investment Act 2013 and regulated by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
Investment Options (Updated Harmonized MoA Standards):
- National Development Fund (NDF): Non-refundable donation of US$ 230,000 for a family of up to 4 persons. For families of 5 or more, US$ 245,000 plus US$ 15,000 per additional dependent.
- Real Estate: Minimum investment of US$ 300,000 in an officially approved real estate project, which must be held for at least 5 years.
- University of the West Indies (UWI) Fund: Donation of US$ 300,000 for a family of at least 6 persons, which entitles one family member to a 1-year tuition-only scholarship at UWI Five Islands campus.
Government & Due Diligence Fees:
- CIU Government Processing Fee: US$ 30,000 for family up to 4; plus US$ 10,000 for each additional dependent.
- Due Diligence (DD): US$ 7,500 for Main Applicant; US$ 4,000 for Spouse; US$ 4,000 for adult dependents (18+); US$ 2,000 for children aged 12-17; US$ 0 for children under 12.
- Passport & Oath Fee: US$ 300 per applicant.
