Zero-Rated Supplies (0% VAT)

Essential grocery items ("Breadbasket" foods: bread, milk, rice, flour, baby food, cheese, fresh produce), prescription drugs, exported goods, and certain electricity supplies under 800 kWh. Businesses can reclaim input VAT on these supplies.

Exempt Supplies

Long-term residential leases, life and health insurance premiums, domestic passenger transport by water/air, and financial services. No VAT is charged, but input tax credits cannot be claimed on related inputs.
