• Maternity Leave (*Concediul de Maternitate*): 126 calendar days (70 prenatal + 56 postnatal; 140 days for twins).
• 100% State Paid: 100.0% of average gross monthly earnings over the preceding 12 months, paid in full by CNAS.
• Childcare Leave up to Age 3 (*Concediul pentru ingrijirea copilului*): Option to receive 60% of insured income in year 1 and 30% in year 2, or 30% for full 3 years.
• One-Time Childbirth State Grant: ~20,000 MDL single payment per newborn child.
