Residential Base Tariffs
• 0 - 40 kWh: EC$ 0.48 / kWh
• 41 - 150 kWh: EC$ 0.54 / kWh
• 151 - 500 kWh: EC$ 0.60 / kWh
• Above 500 kWh: EC$ 0.68 / kWh
Fuel Adjustment Charge (FCA)
Because generation relies heavily on imported diesel fuel delivered into Little Bay, MUL adjusts power bills monthly through the Fuel Adjustment Charge (FCA), which accounts for 45% to 55% of consumer invoices. Geothermal energy projects underway aim to stabilize future rates.
