Qualifying Conditions

  • Retirement Age: 65 years of age.
  • Minimum Months: 180 months (15 years) of paid contributions for a monthly pension.
  • Retirement Grant: Insured persons with 60 to 179 months receive a lump-sum grant equivalent to contributions plus interest.

Pension Scale & Caps

  • Base 40%: Granted for the initial 180 months of covered contributions.
  • Increments: 0.1% added per month (1.2% per full year) exceeding 180 months.
  • Ceiling: Replacement is capped at 60% of best-5-years average insurable wage.
  • Floor: Minimum guaranteed monthly payment is EC$ 300.00.
