Saint Lucia Yachting Regulations & Ports of Entry
Maritime entry and clearance are regulated by the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) and the Customs and Excise Department:
Ports of Entry & Clearances
- Official Ports: Rodney Bay Marina, Castries Harbour, Marigot Bay, and Soufriere.
- Customs Hours: Standard 08:00 - 16:30. Overtime fees apply after 16:30, on weekends, and official holidays.
- Cruising Permit: Valid for 30 days throughout Saint Lucian territorial waters.
Protected Marine Reserves (SMMA)
- Soufriere Pitons Reserve: Anchoring is strictly prohibited on coral reefs. Vessels must use designated SMMA mooring buoys.
- Mooring Dues: Typically US$ 25 to US$ 40 per night depending on LOA.
