Statutory Framework & Calculation Rules
Statutory Provisions on Leave & Holidays (Zakon o radu):
• Statutory Paid Annual Leave: Minimum 20 working days per calendar year. Increases based on tenure, education, working conditions, and parenthood.
• Leave Encashment on Termination: Unused leave days must be compensated at the average daily wage earned in the preceding 12 months.
• Public Holiday Pay (Član 114): Employees working on statutory Serbian public and religious holidays are entitled to a mandatory minimum wage enhancement of 110% (earning at least 2.1x their regular hourly wage).
