From 1 January 2025, the CPF Monthly Salary Ceiling is S$7,400. Maximum employee contribution for age ā¤55 is S$1,480/month; maximum employer contribution is S$1,258/month.

š Revised 2025 CPF Wage Ceilings
The Singapore Government is progressively raising the Ordinary Wage (OW) ceiling to align with prevailing median wages:
- 2024: Capped at S$6,800/month.
- 2025 (Current): Capped at S$7,400/month.
- 2026 (Final step): Capped at S$8,000/month.
- Additional Wage Ceiling: Fixed at S$102,000 minus total annual OW subject to CPF.
š”ļø Special Account Closure Above Age 55
Starting from the second half of 2024 / 2025, for members aged 55 and above:
- The Special Account (SA) is closed upon reaching 55.
- SA savings are transferred to the Retirement Account (RA) up to the Full Retirement Sum (FRS).
- Any excess remaining in SA goes to the Ordinary Account (earning 2.5%), unless voluntarily transferred to RA for higher interest (up to Enhanced Retirement Sum - ERS).
