The Citizenship by Investment Programme of the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis was established in 1984 under Section 92(1)(h) of the Constitution and Section 3(5) of the Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship Act. It is administered by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
Official Statutory Investment Options
- Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC): Non-refundable sovereign donation to the national treasury:
- Single Applicant: USD $250,000
- Main Applicant and Spouse: USD $300,000
- Family of up to 4 persons: USD $350,000
- Additional Dependents under 18: USD $25,000 each
- Additional Dependents aged 18+: USD $50,000 each
- Developer's Approved Real Estate: Minimum investment of USD $400,000 in an approved luxury resort development (e.g. Christophe Harbour, Four Seasons Nevis) with a mandatory 7-year holding period. Government administrative fees: US$ 25,000 for main applicant, US$ 15,000 for spouse, and US$ 10,000 per minor child.
- Approved Private Homes: Purchase of an approved private single-family villa with a minimum investment of USD $800,000 (held for minimum 7 years).
- Mandatory Intelligence Vetting: Due diligence fees: USD $10,000 for main applicant; USD $7,500 for spouse and dependents aged 16+. Virtual interview fee: USD $1,000 per person aged 16+.
