- Right to Severance Pay (Section 87): An employer shall pay severance pay where an employee has been in continuous service for at least 6 months and is terminated unfairly or on grounds of restructuring/redundancy.
- Notice Entitlements (Section 58):
- Service under 1 year: 2 weeks notice
- Service between 1 and 5 years: 1 month notice
- Service between 5 and 10 years: 2 months notice
- Service over 10 years: 3 months notice
- Annual Leave Encashment (Section 54): Employees accrue 21 working days per year (1.75 days per month). Any unutilized days at separation must be encashed using the statutory daily wage divisor (Basic Salary / 26 days).
