The FIFA 21 content calendar is highly atypical due to the coronavirus pandemic. For now, EA Sports has been responsible for filling Ultimate Team with content but outside the usual calendar.
Let us remember that this year Halloween was not celebrated in the simulator with the ‘scream’ cards, but instead they released cards called ‘Rulebreakers’, which changed positions and improved the statistics of some footballers.
There wasn’t October 31 event, but at least special cards made it to Ultimate Team. In the case of the TOTY or Team of the Season or of the Year, the community voting has not even started.
In 2019, TOTY voting was scheduled for December 12 and these letters were released on January 6. However the developer is still silent about it and only the Team of the Week has been enabled.
Will the TOTYs be canceled? Possibly, in this edition of FIFA 21 the best cards of the season will not arrive and this may be because France did not close its season but canceled it due to the coronavirus.
For now, it is not known what the TOTY will replace or if the voting will begin in the following days. You will have to be attentive to the social networks of the company to know what is planned for the future of FIFA 21.
